debian 12
Installing firmware realtek package locates the firmware files in
the /lib/firmware/rtlwifi folder.
On another computer I want to add one firmware file from the firmware realtek package.
Can I put the firmware file in question in the /lib/firmware folder? Or do I have to make a
rtlwifi folder in /lib/firmware and put the firmware file in it?
In general if you put a firmware file in the /lib/firmware folder
and debian will find it?
In order to get debian to use a firmware file you have put in the /lib/firmware
folder you use modprobe -r then modprobe? Thank you.
