Hello, I've Debian trixie and, as indicated in the debian guide for NVIDIA drivers, I installed linux-headers-amd64, nvidia-driver and firmware-misc-nonfree.
Now I have a problem, if I keep the nvidia card disabled (the system just can't find it) the computer is very slow to open some things. For example, 10 seconds to open the system settings, 10 seconds to open the file manager, etc...
If I enable the nvidia card the slowdowns are no longer there but, even if I am not using it, I can no longer use wayland and the cooling fan works often
I would like to know if it is possible to temporarily disable (When I'm not using the external screen, I'm away from home and I don't need to use the NVIDIA card ) the installed things that look for the nvidia card at the beginning and evidently give the slowdown problems.
Thank you
