Wifi 6e hotspot throughput possible

Debian 12 x 2

server1 Intel AX210 6e wifi as client
server2 mediatek MT7921 6e setup as hotspot through the network-manager-gnome
these machines are 20 feet apart for testing.
running iperf3 between the two machines the best i can get is about 75Mbps
tried both 2.4 Ghz & 5Ghz,, same throughput
these are both pretty recent dell machines just for a little more info.

I temporarily set up the hotspot server with hostpad and throughput halved.

How can some get close to 800 Mbps from 6e card to a soho 6e router?
