I've been seeing some excellent prices on refurbed Surface Pro 3 tablets (I'm interested because they're Intel-architecture, compatible with an important app that has no ARM never mind mobile version. but with a form factor like an iPad). Surface Pro 4 is newer and seems likely to have more RAM and storage, but the processor designation looks strange to me -- Core m3? The Surface Pro 3 options I've seen are Core i3, i5, and i7, which I know are compatible.
Anyway, if I get one of those, the very first thing I'll do is replace end-of-life Windows 10 with Linux, but it'd be helpful to know for certain that Debian KDE works well with the touch screen and optional bluetooth mouse and keyboard, as well as the other hardware. Anyone have any experience with these older Surface tablets?
