[Installation] [Installation (i guess)] Help me get debian running on my computer.

So I was on void linux for several years until I really really needed pipewire for something. Every post I ever saw bragged about how its such an easy drop-in replacement to pulseaudio and nothing can possibly go wrong. Upon following the void linux official wiki page for installing pipewire, I had borked my sound and all afternoon of trying to fix it only borked things harder.

So I backed up my important data, formatted my boot drive and tried to install Debian. Normally I don't have much luck with Debian but I have it running on a server and have been able to fix all its issues so far, so I gave it another try.

Well I don't even know where to start now on this next part of the explanation. For what its worth I picked kde since I prefer kde. First, it kept freezing up while starting sddm. If I typed "startx" in a new screen by pressing ctrl+alt+shift+f3 it would boot into kde sometimes but it couldn't recognize my second monitor and there were only like 3 resolution choices. I tried every post, fix and command I could possibly find and got nowhere. I then tried installing lightdm but now my system is in a bootloop so I have to reformat and try again. Next time I'll be picking lxde since that's what I have on my debian server. Maybe kde just doesn't work with the current latest debian install image. Maybe it never works in Debian the same way Cinnamon never works in Arch (or at least works well). idk

I am using a x99 chipset with a 6850k and a amd rx 7700. What drivers do I need and how do I install them? What login manager is most compatible with my hardware and video card? Which desktop environment should I be using to avoid all the cryptic problems? What is the best way to get working graphics drivers that at least works well enough to get dual monitors? I would like to stick to x11 and pipewire if possible, but after several more reinstall fails I might have to give up and start trying random distros until I find one that works on my system.
